Preparing For Your Skip Hire Delivery

While ordering your skip is simple, we want to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible, saving you from frustrations on the day of delivery and collection. To help you assess whether it’s possible for you to make use of a skip on your drive, road, lane or cul-de-sac, see our access requirement guide.

DRIVEWAY DIMENSIONS

Be sure to check if there's enough space for our vehicles (2.9m / 9.5ft) on your road or driveway - it can cause long delays if we cannot gain access. If you think our vehicles won’t fit on your street or drive, let us know and we’ll help you find a solution.

SKIP HIRE

Hire a skip with same or next day delivery and ensure it is the correct size for your project. Roughly, a 6 yard skip is the same size as a regular car. Book online so your order can be processed as soon as possible if you're after a same-day skip delivery.

SKIP DELIVERY

We'll deliver the skip to you on the date specified after you have made sure there's nothing blocking our vehicles from accessing the location.

SKIP COLLECTION
(OR EXCHANGE)

After 10 days, or when you fill the skip, whichever comes first, we will collect the skip or exchange it for you within 24 hours. We can then deliver the same, smaller or bigger skip size to you based on the project you're working on.

The more details you provide us with, the more we can do to make alternative arrangements where possible.

ROAD WIDTH: Be sure to consider road width and parked vehicles.
VEHICLE SIZES: Most of our lorry sizes are 6.8m (L), 3.6m (H) and 2.9m (W).
OVERHEAD HAZARDS: Please check overhead space as our lorries are quite tall.
SHARED DRIVEWAYS: Please contact your neighbour or make sure the skip fits on your side of the driveway.
DRIVEWAY SAFETY: Ensure your driveway is suitable for holding a skip and any drainage points or manholes are protected.
TURNING SPACE: Consider turning space for our vehicles so there's enough room to manoeuvre, especially if you live on a cul-de-sac.
GATES: Please leave any gates open on delivery/collection day and make sure their width is enough for the skip and lorry to go through.
